Hendrix College in Arkansas for her undergraduate degree, and attended medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where she graduated with Honors. Dr. Mehta completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency training at The Ohio State University. Dr. Mehta was in private practice in Columbus, Ohio followed by a teaching position at Grant Hospital (Columbus, Ohio). In 2008, Dr. Mehta relocated with her family to Charlotte, NC. She cared for patients at Northpark OB\/GYN until 2020 when she obtained her certificate in Obesity Medicine and opened Beyond the Weight where she provides weightloss services for men and women.
